Resurrected Bites celebrates inclusivity award win

Resurrected Bites was announced as the winner of the 2025 Stray Ferret Business Award for Inclusivity at an awards ceremony in Harrogate on 13 March.

The award was in recognition of our proactive approach to inclusivity, and our commitment to giving everyone a chance to thrive. As an organisation we’ve always tried to offer opportunities to people to give them a sense of purpose and a chance to build their skills and confidence, which is often a pathway to paid employment.

Our approach includes encouraging people with an early dementia diagnosis, learning differences, mental and physical health issues and those who have experienced food poverty first hand to volunteer with us, reflecting our underlying mission to be a beacon of support in the local community.

Michelle Hayes, CEO of Resurrected Bites said: “We’re absolutely over-the-moon to have won the Inclusivity award. We were up against some really stiff competition, so it’s a huge boost to our team to be recognised for how hard they work to make sure we’re truly inclusive.  We believe everyone deserves a chance to be the best they can be.”
