Afternoon tea with a touch of glamour is a recipe for success
Our Spring afternoon tea and fashion show fundraiser was a sell-out event! Together with our clothing charity partners, we raised hundreds of pounds and filled bellies and wardrobes not bins!
The event saw the hall at St Wilfrid’s church in Harrogate packed with over 120 guests who enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea, while watching a catwalk of fabulous pre-loved clothes being modelled by volunteers.
Resurrected Bites raised a fantastic £1500 which will help us continue our work to reduce food waste, loneliness and food poverty in our local community. And our partners, Cattitude Boutique, Harrogate Clothing Bank, Yorkshire Cancer Research and Oxfam raised hundreds of pounds for their own charities by selling clothing and accessories.
The event was such a success that we’re already planning another one later on this year…..watch this space!
